Rebecca Thompson is a supportive and inspirational mentor who holds a Master of Education (Inclusive Education) and is the principal consultant of Stone & Sprocket, an education consultancy business on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia.
With 28 years of experience spanning early childhood, early intervention, primary school, and adult learning environments, Rebecca prides herself on a long-standing commitment to advocating for every child’s right to access high-quality education through teaching, consulting and being a national speaker.
This commitment has also involved her in action research and improving the quality of education and lives for thousands of families and children. More recently, Rebecca works with families, schools, and services in her local community to bring new light to children’s behaviour and how it is supported through inclusive practice and play.
She is well known for her holistic, caring, and technical approach to building inclusive capacity. Rebecca works collaboratively as a guide, mentor and warm advocate for children, with a wealth of knowledge to inform goal development in all aspects of life.
