Building genuine connections
Christina is a warm, caring and passionate speech pathologist who loves helping children and young people build their communication skills, confidence and connection with others.
Christina studied at the University of Sydney, where she completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology). She has worked in the private health system for over 5 years and is passionate about continually growing her skills and knowledge. Christina regularly takes part in professional development courses to stay up to date with the latest approaches and best practice in speech pathology.
Christina has a strong interest in preschool language development and enjoys working with a wide range of ages, from 1 to 25 years old. She understands that every person is unique, and that therapy needs to be tailored to their individual strengths, interests and needs.
One of Christina’s favourite parts of her work is building genuine connections with her clients and their families. She strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable, understood and seen.
Christina loves using toys, activities and games that are based on each child’s specific interests. She believes that therapy doesn’t have to feel like “work” — her goal is to make sessions feel like playing and having fun with a friend, while naturally building important communication skills along the way.
Christina is passionate about making therapy engaging, individualised and meaningful, and loves finding the right approach to help every child feel confident and successful.
We look forward to more of our families meeting Christina soon!
