Tane’s journey in education began through his early work in Out of Home Care and Disability Care, where he developed a deep passion for supporting vulnerable children.
He went on to complete a double degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education, which laid the foundation for more than a decade of leadership experience across diverse K–6 school settings within the NSW public education system.
Throughout his career, Tane has developed a comprehensive understanding of the complex challenges faced by children and their families.
Particularly those impacted by trauma, neurodivergence, developmental delays, and behavioural or learning difficulties.
After years of meeting families whose children had gone undiagnosed and unsupported during critical stages of development, Tane became driven to change that narrative.
His work is grounded in a commitment to bridging the gap between education and therapeutic care—ensuring that every child is truly seen, heard, and given the opportunity to thrive.
